A c.d.s. reading "TULACI" was used by a Customs Officer who travelled around the group on any overseas vessel that called at the Solomon Islands for either discharging or loading cargo. As Postmaster of such travelling P.O. he used a Tulagi datestamp all the time but his datestamp differed from the usual Tulagi c.d.s. in that the letter "G" in "TULAGI" was shaped very much like a "C".
