1863 The African Steam Ship Company Third Contract 1866-1872 entire letter carried on the vessel "BONNY" departing Freetown 9th January arriving Liverpool 26th January with aCalais transit mark of 27th January. 'PAID-AT-SIERRA-LEONE' unframed c.d.s. in black 'JA 9 1872' The pentagonal handstamp 'GB /2F' was applied in London. French '12' decimes handstamp, indicates the amount to be collected.
