1943 Censored P.O.W. stationery card used from Kuching Camp addressed to the U.K. dated '5th May 1943' Japanese censor chop. The messages on these cards appear stereotyped. The POWs may have been given a list of phrases they were permitted to use. Red crown octagonal censor applied in the U.K. John Simm died on 22nd April 1944 in Borneo.
