1944 censored envelope to the U.S.A. Franked single 10c, 5c & 15c adhesives tied indistinct cancellation dated '29 MR 44' On the front is a straight line "RETURNED TO SENDER" struck in violet. The enclosed letter has the rare Censor label 'The Censor regrets that the Defence Regulations do not permit the trans - mission of this letter and it is therefore returned to the sender. Together with a photocopy of a previous letter a few days earlier from the same sender with the label.
