Seang Choon from Sydney via South and West Africa, was torpedoed and sunk by German submarine U-87 10 miles south-west of Fastnet on 10th July 1917 Few items have been recorded from this wreck, one of two recorded from Sierra Leone.

1907 1d stationery envelope addressed to Newcastle cancelled 'FREETOWN' c.d.s. '4 MR 07' Two line 'SALVED FROM / S S JEBBA' struck in violet. With S S very close together under VE of SALVED second S being inverted and dropped. The back flap is missing.
