1905 stampless 'Consignee' envelope addressed to London Per Royal Mail Steam Packets Esk & Trent, thought to have been posted on the Esk at Grenada and first put in the mail at Port of Spain Trinidad. 'PORT OF SPAIN' cancellation on the front 'OC 4 05' As Esk was an inter island ship it would turn about at Trinidad. At Barbados which was the transfer station the letter changed ships and was taken by Trent to Southampton. Straight line 'PAQUEBOT' applied in black. Charged '2d' by the Foreign Branch in London.
