The mail was offloaded at the first port of call Freemantle Western Australia on 9th January 1918. Forwarded to Melbourne then carried on the S.S. Calulu (Australian Commonwealth line) On arrival in Liverpool treated as mail originating in Australia. By 1917 the Type 1 cachet had become worn.
