'5 DE 34' Carried from Hong Kong to Europe on the P & O steamer "Ranpura" On 12th January 1935 the envelope was on Train D 45 from Franfurt am Main to Berlin, a fire was discovered in the mail van at Weibenfels, mail was thrown out of the car whilst in motion. The bags were sent to Leipzig and forwarded. Explanatory label applied dated '16.1.35'
