1927 airmail envelope addressed to Minnesota. Giaffre adhesives in combination with U.S. 15c Air Mail adhesive tied 'SINGIDA' c.d.s. '23 OC 1927' Manuscript 'Manyoun' registration label. The cover was intended to be flown on the "Pelican" flight, but as the aircraft had crashed, it was forwarded by surface mail to New York and flown to destination within the U.S.A. Prepaid with 15c U.S. airmail stamp to ensure airmail with the U.S.A.
