1921 envelope addressed to Germany. From Rev. Franz Gieiss a Missionary at Wuga. Franked single 3c and two 6c overprinted adhesives tied 'WILHELMSTAL' c.d.s. '3 MR 21' Carried on the S.S. Kalyan. During unloading in Marseille a quantity of mail was found to be water damaged due to gales in the Mediterranean which had penerated the ventilators of No 2 hatch. Boxed 'DAMAGED BY / WATER' struck in violet. (Kalyan type 3 cachet)
