1916 Censored Telegram (South African) envelope (Deleated) endorsed 'On Active Service' addressed to Umtali Countersinged by Officer Commanding Tandala. Cancelled 'F.P.O. 4' c.d.s. '22 NOV 16' used in Mwaya. Mwaya was captured by troops advancing from north of Karonga F.P.O. opened mid June and was superseded by F.P.O. 4 after two months.
