1917 Acknowledgement of Receipt form (15,000 printed in September 1913 for the Union of South Africa) Franked 2 1/2d adhesive tied rubber 'WINDHOEK' c.d.,s. '14.11.17' struck in black addressed to Switzerland. On the reverse Wabern cancellation and Red-addressed back to Windhoek. The 2 1/2d adhesive paid the Avis de Reception rate. Small tear bottom right corner where the form was removed from the packet.
