1899 underpaid mourning envelope addressed to Krugersdorp franked horizontal pair 1/2d adhesive tied 'P.K. FOURIEBURG O.V.S.' c.d.s. 'NO 23 00' Red manuscript taxe marking. On the reverse a fine strike of the 'R.P.K. NOOORD O.V.S.' c.d.s. '7 NOV 1899' This T.P.O. operated between Norvalspont and Bloemfontein from 1894-1900 one of the few recorded examples. Small flap tear.
