1897 3c stationery wrapper addressed to Bordeaux uprated 1c adhewsive tied 'MAURITIUS/3' c.d.s. 'NO 29 97' Carried on the Messageries Maritime vessel "Djemnah" on Ligne 'V' which left Port Louis 29th November arriving Marseille 24th December. The Djemnah was built in France in 1875 making 58 voyages on Ligne 'V' and 'U' between 1895/1912 She was torpedoed on tyhe 14th July 1918 in the Mediterrean.
