1938 cover to Bristol franked 1½d adhesive tied "MONTEGO BAY" c.d.s. 'NO 8 38'. Two-line "DAMAGED BY/SEA WATER" struck in violet. The envelope was carried on "S.S. WASHINGTON", received in London November 24th. There are no reports confirming how the damage occurred.
