1903 postcard addressed to Germany headed and dated 'Butaritari 24/04/03' Unusually franked by New South wales 1/2d & 1d (part imprint) The 1/2d has small 'OS' perfin, adhesives tied in transit by 'SYDNEY' machine d/s The adhesives were probably carried to the island, it was usual to use German adhesives.
