1900 envelope from Cape Town franked 1d adhesive 12th May addressed to a private in the Imperial lighthorse Natal. Manuscript 'Not Known/ M Grundy P.O.Cpl/ILH depot' Boxed 'NOT TO BE FOUND' in red. This was probably applied by APO 47 (Cape Town) Cancellation on the reverse.
